STORY OF JAIPUR

Jaipur also known as PINK CITY was founded by King Sawai Jai Singh in 1727. The foundation of the City was laid as per The Principals of Hindu Architectural theory VASTU SHASTRA which is a 5000 year old based on Indian astrology. Central to the theme of 9 planets in the Solar System on which the Vedic astrology is based – the city also has 9 blocks which is in turn is related to the 9 planets which is linked to the 9 sacred GEMS.
